Introduction to Black Swan Theory

From 9/11 to the Recession of 2007, these are events thathave scared history and the United States of America. Theywere unprecedented by the people of those days, yet, we lookback at those events and saw the impending signs of what wasto happen. Nassim Nicholas Taleb accounted for these eventsand our perspectives today as the Black Swan Theory. Muchlike how what seemed to be the norm and logical answer tothe question: "what's the color of a swan?" and then baffledby the discovery of black swans in Western Australia, peopledid not see these events coming. In fact, they seemed to havedeluded, biased, believed that there was no way a war canbreak out in a civilized world. That there will be no moreevents matching the Great Depression and that nuclear war isonly a story in American fiction movies.
