Nathan works at the galvanizing plant in the small village of Petersburg. Following an acrimonious divorce a few years earlier, it was time to move on with his life. Which he soon discovered is easier said than done in a small town. His friends suggested it was time to step up in the real world and try online dating. Times had changed; what worked back then might not work today. Nathan was apprehensive. He set up his profile. Nathan was excited that it was quicker and easier than he thought. Now, he waited. To his surprise, there was interest in him, more than he had expected. Of all the possible candidates who answered, he picked Serenity. She seemed to possess interests similar to his own and seemed beautiful inside and out. He had to take a chance and try to connect with Serenity. After a few dates, he reached out to see if she mutually felt the attraction between them or if it was just him. Will everything run smoothly for Nathan and Serenity? Will they find the happiness they deserve? Or will their pasts return to haunt them?
