The little blue planet seems to have exactly what the Quinton warriors need and want. A pandemic had wiped out most of their females several generations ago and the Frontier One was an observatory ship that scanned the galaxies looking for valuable resources that included compatible females. The warrior ship was in non contact observational mode led by the toughest elite commander when a computer malfunction scooped up a female earthling and her dog.

Kidnapped by aliens, ex-gymnast and current catering owner Eva LeClair and her large dog Harley are now the guests on an alien ship heading to the planet Quinton. After a rocky introduction, where Eva takes a warrior hostage, she discovers she will be unable to return to earth for at least six months.

The warriors are a team of highly skilled massive males who are fierce protectors of all females. Although they have had limited contact with females in their lifetime, they all desire a female mate and formal union.

Elite commander Jaxon Larshon is confused by the tiny earthling who has taken over his ship. She shows no understanding of her importance or how fragile she is. All females require protection and Eva needs to understand that Quinton warriors protect what is theirs. A dog is not much of a protector by Quinton standards, especially one that seems to welcome any form of affection from his warriors.

Eva is taken aback by the stubborn leader with the gorgeous blue eyes and long warrior braids. He might be a stunning male, and a leader among his men; but he has a lot to learn about women. Especially earth women like Eva. Six months might not be long enough to teach this warrior all he needs to know about women and maybe attract a mate of his own.
