John Stuart Mill made essential contributions to social theory, political theory, and political economy. He has been called "the most influential English-speaking philosopher of the nineteenth century".

Frederic Bastiat was a French political economist, statesman, classical liberal theorist, and the French Assembly. He coined the important economic concept of opportunity cost. His ideas have become the foundation for libertarian and the Austrian schools of thought. Most of Bastiat's political writings were done during the years just before and immediately after the Revolution of February 1848 when France was rapidly turning to complete socialism. Bastiat explained each socialist fallacy as it appeared and how socialism must inevitably degenerate into communism that it must fail.

John Clark influences on economic theory are in the following fields:

1) The marginalist revolution in the United States
2) The economic relationships between distribution of income and production
3) The static and dynamic laws on economic equilibrium
4) The competition of an economic system
5) The antitrust policy on competition
6) The economic motivation by self-centered desire

The books by John Bates Clark, one of the greatest American economists, were widely acclaimed and it was widely used by students of studying economics. Named after his name, The John Bates Clark Medal is considered one of the two most prestigious awards in the field of economics, along with Nobel Prize for economics.

The collection includes the most important works about socialism and communism by John Stuart Mill, Frederic Bastiat, and John Bates Clark. The titles in the book were written before V.I. Lenin built Soviets, the father county of socialistic countries and they predicated the failure of any form of socialistic countries. They told us the truths then and they are telling the same truths now that socialism by evil natures cannot create constructive values and lead the human civilization forward.

Without counting the numbers of the killed people in the other socialistic countries, Lenin's solution of building Soviets to address issues of Capitalism is catastrophic to the world. An estimated 70 million people may have died under the soviet regime. The human cost was enormous. Yet despite all this, Lenin's Soviets are worshipped by millions as a great model by other countries including North Korea and some aged rulers and their followers in China today.

Reading those books is important again when China, a socialistic country and a brother of former Soviets, is threating our way of living. Using the old tricky of that a centralized government control everything from personal activities to social economic interests, The Communist Party in China are encapsulating the well planned activities under our familiar processes, terms, and concepts of capitalism and Chinese Confucius to disrupt our fair trade, devaluate our intellectual properties, distribute masked version of China socialism and communist education, and damage shareholder values including Chinese people and Chinese Confucius.  The Communist Party in China proves again what Mr. Bastiat told us a century ago that socialism in trade term means protectionism and socialism in education term means washing people's minds.

This is a must-read book for people who are interested in the deepest thoughts about the subjects of socialism, freedom, and economy by John Stuart Mill, Frederic Bastiat, and John Bates Clark, three of the greatest thinkers on the planet. It is also a mu
