Hosea is a commander in Pharaoh's army... and a Hebrew. After returning home from war, he finds the remains of a great pestilence in Egypt during his absence and the Hebrew people are being blamed. Reluctant to give up his position in the army, Hosea receives a message from his father to leave Egypt and follow his people to Succoth. He then receives another message containing a new name for him. A name given by God "Joshua".
