Junior detectives David, 9, and Charlotte, 5, solve problems in their small town of Angel Park. They tackle a range of problems from missing or stolen items to problems which impact their neighbourhood in a negative way. Each time they approach a problem they have to resolve certain aspects of the investigation, basically what, when, how and who in order to solve the problem and/or catch the criminal.
In the same way that different detectives will undertake a criminal case in different ways, so do David and Charlotte when they take a different path in the investigation. In this series of books, we see four different ways in which a problem is solved. Each investigation might uncover different clues, take a different approach or strategy to the investigation and undertake a different plan for solving the problem.
These books will appeal mostly to children ages 7 to 12. They will be entertained and engaged by the problem solving nature of the stories and, especially, by the creative solutions used to solve the cases.
In this book, our junior detectives undertake their fourth investigation into three cases, The Missing Rabbit, The Red Shoes and the Green Bike.
