We are doing a series of pre-taped visual and audio podcasts although their faces will be edited out! of the refugees she interviewed, reading excerpts of their stories of how they escaped each of their countries. They will drop once a week, for eight weeks.
We are working with numerous philanthropic names and with charities, on this one, to plug this book and help raise funds for new refugees to help them get an education
All the charities we are working with/in talks with will blast out on their social channels and monthly newsletters.
We plan to do Kickstarters for some of these refugees in the book to raise money to help them with housing/clothing/education
Which does create buzz while helping these courageous interviewees
Organize virtual panel discussions featuring the author and LGBTQ+ activists, advocates, and refugees to discuss the book's themes and the global fight for LGBTQ+ rights.
