Eight year old Trisha is murdered in her bed. Her ten year old sister Zoe is in the next bed but she remembers nothing of the event. The murderer was never found. Thirteen years later teacher and university student Zoe throws a missile at a lecturer and must undertake treatment to find the cause of her behaviour. Her treatment threatens the murderer. At this time, Covid-19 is rampant. The Prime Minister brings in mandates to limit the spread of the illness. Many people protest her actions. Hidden among the genuine protesters are Anti-Establishment 'sheriffs' who have orders from self-styled Bishop Julius to kill her.
