Reading those reinforces the idea that you are not alone, that you are not crazy, and that those feelings you had that something wasn't right were valid and genuine. The writing assignments too are good, practical recovery assignments. The final two chapters about healing and moving on don't hold up as well. Choosing happiness, yes, that makes sense. Being honest with yourself, check. But the idea that developing a sense of the present, of living in the "now," will inevitably lead to inner peace - well, I'm not sure that follows.
