Lope Felix de Vega Carpio (Madrid, 1562-Madrid, 1635). Spain. Born in a humble family, he studied with the Jesuits and did not finish college at Alcala de Henares. After his break with Elena Osorio (Phillies in his poetry), his great love of youth, Lope wrote pamphlets against the family of this. For this he was tried and banished in 1588, the year he married Isabel de Urbina (Belisa). He spent the first two years at Valencia and then in Alba de Tormes, in the service of the Duke of Alba. In 1594, after the death of his wife and daughter, was pardoned and returned to Madrid. Alli had an affair with an actress, Michelle Lujan (Camila Lucinda) with whom he had many descendants, a fact that did not prevent her second marriage, to Jane Guardo. Then it was one of the most popular and acclaimed author of the Court. In 1605 he entered the service of the Duke of Sessa as secretary. The tragedy marked his last years: Marta de Nevares one of his latest lovers is blind in 1625, and died in 1632. His son Lope Felix also died. The loneliness, suffering, illness, or economic problems did not prevent his writing.
