This illustrated story has been designed for bilingual children, students and others wishing to read a parallel text in English and Spanish. For ease of understanding, the languages are displayed together just one or two sentences at a time. The aim was to make translation as direct as possible but always using everyday language of native speakers.

"I wonder how high Frog can jump," said Rosemary.
"That's an interesting thought," laughed Basil. "Let's ask him!"

The Pansy sisters turned their blue faces towards Frog.
"Frog!" they shouted in harmony. "Jump!"

¡Rana! gritaron a la vez. ¡Salta!

Frog looked down at the plants in the little blue flowerpot.
"Me?" asked Frog. "I can't jump."
The plants thought that Frog must be shy; they all knew that frogs could jump.
