The Tree of Life is used or abused by a number of belief systems. But amongst these the author points to the tree as a 'thread of healing' running through the biblical narrative from beginning to end. He also touches on the water of life as a means of healing together with other methods such as the use of prayer cloths. From his travels he brings stories from places such as Croatia, Moldova and Russia. He tackles the subject of divine healing from a number of unusual angles and addresses the problem of unbelief as a power in itself. The book is full of quotations from the scriptures and from respected authors. There is an emphasis on healing being a gift for all who believe and not just the chosen few and on how the 'Healing Rooms' concept is an ideal medium for the ordinary believer to be used in healing.
