"This Frontline Book Publishing revised edition was collectively edited by Mr. Prizgar Gonzales. We have fined- tuned this important pertinent course and have replaced the non- favorable word negro with the more appropriate Black or mostly African. Also, since this class was indeed broken-up into lessons. Frontline has retitled our edition accordingly Lessons for African People: The Course of African Philosophy.
We pay homage to the Honorable Charles L. James for introducing me to this splendid work. Mr. James was honored as the top student of this historic class of 1937.
This book Lessons for African People: The Course of African Philosophy, must be studied, read and re-read individually and collectively by every living African on this planet. It does not matter what our denomination/ ideology may be, especially at this time in our history when our African youths world-wide are brutally facing extinction.
Garvey methodically laid out the Black print for the African race to succeed in this world of wolves and blood¬ sucking vultures. We must stand up and be counted in this crucial struggle for Life African Liberation.
Let's strive to achieve African redemption and Black Power. The African struggle continues!"
