Letters by Diane -- Advocacy over the Years is a collection of letters I have written to the local newspaper over the past 14 years. They include letters about Mental Health, Autism, Poverty, AISH, Faith and Community. Currently I am 63 years old. I have been through two abusive marriages and have three adult children. I have sat on numerous not-for-profit boards and I am active in my church. I have received a humanitarian civic award in nearby Medicine Hat, Alberta and the Citizenship of the Year Award in the small town where I live, Redcliff Alberta. I am Biplor and on the Autistic Spectrum. I am also Asthmatic. I write my letters to the editor mainly as an outlet because it is eaiser and better than going to therapy. It seems to help other people too.
