Life Compass Living: A Guide for Growing Up and Growing Old Together provides security and peace-of-mind to individuals and families navigating the complex world of growing up and growing old with a transformational, proven six (6) step planning protocol. This protocol provides a path out of anxiety and vulnerability into secure relationships and ready resources that allow us to move from surviving the next crisis to managing the next transitions across generations. Life Compass Living believes it is a human right to have the dignity of choice and that plans made in harmony with our Life Compass, described in the book, will enable us all the flourish in every stage of life and manage life transitions with elegance. Life Compass Living enables individuals to create strong support communities that eliminate isolated care, improve medical compliance and outcomes, increase work productivity, and leverage both mainstream and alternative resource options. Equally important, it empowers individuals as consumers of products and services, ensuring they pay only for what they need. This enables those who utilize the Life Compass Living process to work with their Family of Choice and others in the growing Life Compass Living Community to fulfill our mission. We help people flourish in every stage of life, and manage life transitions with elegance. We do that by helping one another create a LIFE COMPASS PLAN to build the lives we want, with the people we want, in the place we want. We help one another put that plan together and find the resources to make it a reality. Why Life Compass Living? The idea of life planning is often viewed as solely an exercise in financial management for your retirement years. In reality, however, it is much more than just financial management. Most retirement plans, if there's even one in place, don't take into account the unexpected emotional and practical costs and of aging and/or unexpected illnesses. Finances are not able to provide a fully human experience at any age. From young children to older adults, the quality of life experience is found in relationships, and a sense of being significant in the place we choose to live. When a person loses their capacity to be who they are, with their people and in a place where they feel safe and at home, they can not thrive. Attempts to secure the future with finances can still leave individuals in despair.
