Forty-two years earlier, two boys, seventeen and fourteen, were elevated out of poverty. The older brother, Michael, is the CEO of Forbes International while the younger brother, Victor, is owner and CEO of Forbes & Partners LLP, a law firm he conceptualized and brought to fruition that now employs more than ten thousand worldwide.

The Forbes name is synonymous with excellence and exceptional services while the Forbes men are revered in their respective industries as powerhouses. As much as it seems they had the world at their fingertip, they were unlucky in love.
