She's straightlaced and plays by the rules.

He's carefree and rebellious.

Jen knows punk musician Jack Norris is trouble from the moment they meet. He's crass, immature and definitely not boyfriend material. But now that her brother is in Jack's band, he's everywhere. He's annoying.

And she can't stop thinking about him.

He awakens feelings she never thought possible. Desire for a different kind of life. Maybe he's not so bad after all. What if she gives him a chance? Sometimes love comes when you least expect it.

And so does tragedy. One minute Jen is happy, and the next she's dead.

A reaper wants to take her away, but Jen's got other ideas. As a ghost, she can still watch over Jack and all the people she loves. Maybe even try to communicate with them. But it's not enough, and now it looks like the cops want to pin her murder on Jack.

She makes a deal with the reaper...to put her soul back into her body until she can set things right. As a mortician, Jen knows a thing or two about corpses. Except when it comes to reanimating them.

How hard could it possibly be?
