Living With A Porn Addict: Understanding, Accepting, Healing.

When I first learned about my husband (then boyfriend's) porn addiction, I asked a bunch of questions, trying to get to the root of it all. I asked him about what he was watching and why. I asked a pastor for advice. I tried to figure out what I should do. I asked, but didn't get the answers I needed.

Years later, after discovering that despite promising me he would stop, my husband was still engaging in pornography, I became more curious. To the point that I delved into it myself, trying to figure out what the big deal with pornography was and why it was so difficult to stop.

All these avenues I took made me even more confused. I felt angry because my husband wasn't being upfront and honest with me. I felt disappointed because instead of offering advice the pastor simply suggested I walk away. I felt cheated as a woman and as a human being. The search for answers went on for years and after having gone this far, I felt I had to admit defeat and continue living with my sorrow and the feeling of guilt.

With this book, I want to give you information that will help you understand where you are at the moment and what you're up against. Porn addiction is not beyond help, but only if the porn addict is willing to be helped. Trying to save someone who doesn't want to be saved, will only be a huge waste of time and energy on your part.

As someone once said, "When your world falls apart you can either give up and cut your losses, or you can take a deep breath and begin to rebuild".

Whichever of these two options you choose, to give up on your relationship or try to save it, remember that in either case you need to get on with your life.

This book will help you understand why this has happened to you and how you can learn to trust men again.
