This eBook is the result of such a period in the life of the author in which he battled with depression and passed through his own 'dark night of the soul'. This was accompanied by a time of deep introspection during which he had to re-order his life and priorities and find the answers to a number of important questions, including 'Who am I really?'; 'What is actually going on in the world?'; 'What is real?; and 'What is the true meaning of suffering, life and death?'

This book therefore reflects new perspectives gained by the author during this difficult time when he had to combine and apply all his life-experience and studies in science, philosophy, psychology, metaphysics and theology in order to find answers to these important questions (as well as others). He offers these personal insights as a comfort to readers who may be experiencing the same feelings of loneliness and despair following an equally difficult period in their lives, and also provides practical advice on how to deal with the negativity and emotions that accompany such an experience.
