We have been living amid a pandemic for a while. From the first cases of the virus that arose in China to the spread of the virus like wildfire throughout the world, we have been living under a siege of sorts. We have become isolated, fear-ridden, and depressed. We can't seem to handle going into our homes and staying there without huge, negative repercussions to our overall health and well-being and the happiness of our family and friends.

And truly, it hasn't been easy to be isolated and within our family circle 24/7. It isn't easy to be separated from family and friends. It's hard to be enclosed and shut down in our family of origins. The aha moments that presented themselves arose because of this crisis is that our family life is dangerously lacking. We can't seem to live peacefully in our family. We don't get along with those closest to us. Senseless violence and abuse are becoming pandemic, as is drug abuse of every kind. More people are dying of OxyContin and Sentinel overdoses than ever before.

Further, the sense of home has eroded. People hate being home. They feel isolated and unable to cope. Home has become like a jail cell for many people. This has underlined our need to step back from our life and to determine what's most important instead of running all the time. Perhaps we have mindlessly unaware of what home signifies for us because we haven't cultivated a sense of comfort and togetherness that is essential to create a home.

Most of us have a house, a place to lay our heads after a long day at work. This house could be an apartment, a room, or a house. But has been coming to the fore over the past year is how we have lost the true meaning of home and how to create comfort within our home. We simply live with the people in our midst in a cold, mindless, and disconnected way.

One way of achieving this is by following the Danish way of life. They are unique in how they live. They have developed a sense of community, both inside and outside of their homes. There is less violence in the Danish culture and less drug use. People seem to be much happier and more content. But why? What makes the Danish way one of the better ways to live? And how can we recreate a sense of home and togetherness during these pandemic timesa time that is laced with fear and uncertainty.

I will argue than one of the best ways to achieve wholeness is to develop a Hygge way of living. I will show you how to do so in this e-book.
