Cheryl Lockett Alexander, born June 20, 1960 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Second living daughter of Edward Locket Sr. a native of White Castle, Louisiana and the first African American Forman now retired from Boh Brothers Construction Company in New Orleans. Mother, Mary Edna Reynolds of Natchez, Mississippi; both parents have been the guiding light in Cheryl's writing career since her first book, "MY HERO IS A DUKE...OF HAZZARD (The Autobiography of a teenage runaway in Hollywood) was published in 2012. Cheryl has been married for 27 years to Steven Roy Alexander Sr., formally a Canadian Navy Seaman and 20 year retired US Army veteran from Comox, B.C. Canada. They have four children. Philicia, Steven Roy Jr. , Stephanie, and Christina Roseline and a grandson, Christian Roy Anthony.
