Medical Conditions Associated with Suicide Risk: Asthma and Suicide

This ebook identifies age groups that are more likely to experience depressive symptoms comorbid with asthma. The review contains a discussion of studies that explore the potential dose-response relationship between asthma severity and other negative conditions that may be risk factors for suicide. The authors examine the literature on asthma as a chronic medical condition and suicide risk, shared causal factors and potential increases in attempts by age group. Recommendations for caregivers are given at the end of the ebook.
