Memories from South America Book 2: This picture book is a record of a part of a cruise from South America to the Antarctic Peninsula. It is one of 2 such books; the first preceding the Antarctic Cruise, this book was a tour after the Antarctic cruise. There was a short stay in Buenos Aires and then a flight to the magnificent Iguazu Falls area. This part was only two days long but included two long tours of the falls. One was for the Argentinian side, the other was for the Brazilian side. An unexpected side-trip was to the Parque des Aves; a really delightful way of getting up close to some of South America's colourful bird life. The book provides some insight into what could be seen on such a typical trip. Each photograph has an adjoining page with a brief explanation. It is meant to show what an average person could see on such a trip: good weather and bad! The file size limit of the eBook format is the reason for 2 books. The original photographs (taken but author, and amateur, with amateur equipment) are very large and so need compressing to fit in the file limit. In this book 12 short videos are included of the many taken. If you have wondered what such a trip might be like, have a read.
