Mexi makes friends with some new dogs and introduces her best friend, Canna, to her new friends along with Dylan. They learn to play together no matter their size or age. Then they have a sad time when one of the older friends, Chip, becomes poorly and goes to the vet. He dies and goes to the big farm in heaven and meets up with other friends. Mexi and her friends learn that when their friend dies, they think about all the wonderful times they have had and the beautiful memories of their friend to keep their friends alive in their minds and thoughts. Also, they must talk to their parents if they feel sad.
