Moments Capturing

Most fiction writers have themes or motifs they employ often in their stories. Writers of erotica have them too. A motif that habu frequently couches his gay male stories in is that of artpainters painting young men in poses they have debauched the model into and young men appearing in pornographic photo shoots, on book covers, or in movies to get ahead in life. The collection of pornographic gay male art also becomes a backdrop in habu stories. Habu himself is a collector of Asian art, so Shunga, the ancient wood-block art of men in a sexual embrace with other men, and such exotic sexual play as beautiful bondage, can be found in his works.

Moments Capturing, is a jumbo collection of thirty stories, ten of them never before having been published, which provides glimpses into habu's use of art as a motif in his stories. The stories here are provided in eight sectionsPainting, Photographs, Sculpting, Book Cover Art, Shunga Art, Film, Mixed Media, and Art Collectingpurely as a convenience for structuring the collection. The uses of art in habu's stories overlap. Several forms typically are used in the same story. They have been grouped here just in terms of a highlighting form for each story.
