In "The Death of Shadows", Linedari, a young woman, struggles with the monsters in her mind, fighting to find herself and the line between reality and make believe. Seeking the strength to stand up against the voices in her head, she takes the first steps forward towards her own path, one not chosen by anyone but herself.

"Love's a Crime" and in this short story Audrey is forced to quickly come to terms with the fact that she's in love with a monster. It's a race to the end and she has to choose between what is right and what her heart wants.

"The Monster" hides in the darkness, and Mishka has an unfortunate run in with it, resulting in her losing the man she cares about. But what happens when she goes to his brother to tell him what they found? How will he react when he learns not only is his brother dead, but that they also broke the rules...
