Yes, we will fail at times; and when we do, we can plunge into the infinite well of His mercy and compassion, whereby, being eternally grateful and get back up once again, in Christ!
Jesus has given us victory over the sin nature, but it's a victory that we have to learn how to overcome! How? By understanding that, Jesus erased the certificate of sin debt, with its obligations, that was against us and opposed to us, and has taken it out of the way by nailing it to the cross.
