What if, after initially refusing Mr Darcy's offer of marriage at the parsonage, Elizabeth finds herself in the position where she is forced to accept his proposal? Mr Darcy's Struggle has 85,000 words and is a stand-alone variation on Jane Austen's original Pride & Prejudice.

As a variation, it does not follow the original timeline.
