Mu Shiying makes use of novel and theory statement and set up a bridge between film art and novel artistry. He once scripted and directed by himself named Fifteen Righteous Man,which described guerrilla stories of Northeast resistance Japanese invasion. Though this film had not finished, it was known by many people. Our World was born and then strongly recommended by editors and was put as the first chapter. Since then, Mr.Mu made a figure on literature. South and North Poles was the first short story collection of Mu Shiying and it reflected opposites between upper class and lower class. So it received strong reverberation. Literary critics in that times gave credit for his unique visual angle, fresh form and skillful expression and they regarded Mr.Mu as a important people in Chinese literary.
