Sue Ellison is a mid-twenties former Ontario Police-person who quit when the ever-present "Glass Ceiling" overcame her. She joined forces with a mild-mannered retired RCMP officer in a Private Investigation firm. They contract to a large Omaha Nebraska investment firm. When the cranky Chief Financial Officer saw discrepancies in one of their Canadian investments, O'Reilly Financial. He demanded they put Evan and "that woman" on the case or they'd put their shares on the open market. O'Reilly's President agreed. Sue is sent to British Columbia where a massive forest fire has brought the Province to a stand-still. Communities are evacuated, roads clogged. Sue addresses the problems.
