MK Staple's novel Murder at Blackhead is set in WWII and depicts the story of a local girl Isabel and how she was duped into marrying a German spy. His intent is to disrupt the supply line between North America and Europe during the war! The book details the Nazi involvement in the Knights of Columbus fire in St. John's, Newfoundland in December 1942. Many American, Canadian, and British servicemen lost their lives in the fire. It's a novel of espionage, murder, tragedy and betrayal!
MK Staple has loved the fresh air and rugged, world class scenery of Newfoundland and Labrador for her entire life! It is with pride that she calls the Rock her home!
She has published three books to date, The Holiday Killers in 2011 and Legacy of Evil in 2013, and the Squatters in 2015.
