Alexander Hinkel and the cheeky boxing club owner, Janke Lofstat, are back for a second season of solving murders! Together, they tackle ten new and intriguing murder investigations with the help of Agrippa's police captain Robert Flint. And this time, Hinkel and Janke have to try and juggle the ups and downs of their new romantic relationship on top of it all, without it affecting their work...

Janke's dad, the wealthy businessman Joos Lofstat, shows up unexpectedly asking Hinkel's help with locating a stolen painting. Janke, however, wants nothing of it, even though her father offers them a large sum of money as a reward. She has broken all ties with her family years ago already, and she has no plans getting involved with the Lofstat empire again. But then the stolen painting turns up at the scene of a murder and things get a little more complicated. Does Janke's dad have anything to do with the murder of the art thief, and could there be more behind the simple painting of the Hawaiian woman and some chickens?
