The Williams clan is in turmoil after the death of its matriarch Captain Audrey Williams. Who will take her place? Erica Williams discovers that Ellie and Tawny are planning to assassinate her mother Alberta.

Alberta doesn't believe her daughter, until Ellie throws Alberta into the Guinevere's brig. Guinevere leaves Erica and Martha behind on in another star system. Alberta is broken out of the brig by her supporters.

Now Alberta must mutiny against her own family. The battle for survival begins! Sister against sister! A terrible fate, until the Lorkiiz aliens arrive to make it worse. The aliens come to conquer and steal the STARSHIP GUINEVERE

Alberta and her supporters escape in the rocketship Guinevere's Daughter, along with all of the family's children. They are chased from one star system to the next! Hounded by pirates that work for the Lorkiiz. They can find no help from anyone. Even family members on the homeworld won't help them.

They are cursed as thieves and kidnappers! Where can they find an ally? Where can they go? Alberta and her supporters are attacked by aliens, pirates, and even ninjas! This family of women must do all they can to find a safe home for their children before all is lost.
