However, you can change yourself and the impact they have on you!
Anxiety and depression are a societal coping construct.
Most people consider them negative emotions.
If they are causing you difficulty, the following are some processes to calm those emotions. Use your imagination as you go through each step of the process.
If you are feeling anxious:
Choose a blessing from the Blessings Book. Take time to center yourself, then accept that blessing. Breathe in the blessing breathe out anxiousness

Use it as a mantra, as you repeat it, feel the calming effect deep within
your mind, body and soul. Take your time. Let it sink in. This will
lift you up and out of any state that is less than perfect peace.
While you are feeling peaceful, choose a part of your body (hand, heart, ear, chest, knee etc.) Anytime you begin to feel anything less than peace, touch that chosen spot to instantly remind yourself that you are peace personified. Take a deep breath, slowly release it and relax into that peace.
Touching that spot locks you into peacefulness.
If you are feeling depressed:
Choose a blessing. Take time to center yourself, then accept that blessing. Breathe in the blessing breathe out depression repeatrepeat as you continue to breathe.
Use it as a mantra, repeat as you feel the calming effects deep within
your mind, body and soul. Take your time, let it sink in. This will
lift you up and out of any state that is less than perfect peace.
