My Father's Throne

So when Pastor Odioum, a vibrant, hardworking and God-fearing minister, and General overseer of a flourishing Christian ministry called the Pathfinder, decided to relinquish his God-ordained position to answer the call of his village Oracle who demanded that he should occupy his father¿s vacant throne, he did not count the cost before making the decision to go.

Moreover, without deep spiritual consultations from those who God has placed ahead of him, and also seeking the mind of God concerning such `¿throne¿¿, he believed that his own knowledge and long-standing with God was enough to forge ahead, even with the mind that it could eventually bring his deeply rooted idol-worshipping Umuozalla l and to God and cleanse his father¿s throne.

However, unknown to him, he had unwittingly walked into a deeply seated generational trap of intricate manipulation of versed occultic practices that surround the throne.
He got entwined into the intricate demonic webs controlling powers of his father¿s house and umuozalla land which was devastating, but for the intervention of the Almighty God, Odioum would have been lost and lost forever.
Thanks to the Almighty God, who will never leave us nor forsake His own as He would always disgrace and defeat wicked powers anywhere and anytime.

Samuel Uzor Juwe is the Regional Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, Excellent Region in Agege area of Lagos State. He had been in Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministries for over 24years and has served in various capacities as Pastor/ Minister. FOREWARD
In this thrilling and compelling suspense book, the writer endeavour to use creative imagination to tell a detailed moving story of a General Overseer turned village king. The story was told by drawing inspiration from the rich reserve of the teachings of our General Overseer Dr D.K.Olukoya over the years. Telling the stories through these created characters, the writer was able to bring out certain salient but disturbing thoughts in Christendom about been a `¿village king¿¿ and a `¿Christian¿¿ at the same time. With the characters in the book, the writer was able to capture the essence of Christianity, by using sprinkling lessons that are so well illustrated throughout the book. There are rich lessons to be learnt about sacrifice, temptations, constant relationship with the father, spiritual warfare and fasting.
The writer was also able to use characters in the book to answer some veiled questions many people are wondering about today. As a Christian, is it okay to take a royal position such as `¿king¿¿ in the village considering the traditional processes involved? For so long a time, we have had pastors, ministers and many others in the service of God asking this mind blogging questions, whether it is okay ¿ but only as long as the person did not get entangled in fetish practices. Then one would wonder how possible it is not to get entangled in fetish things, seeing that many of these positions require that the recipient plays major roles in communal deity worship and activities involving sacrifices that are not very innocent or in line with the Christian beliefs most of the time. This imaginative work in some ways, try to answer these questions and many more, hence it is highly recommended to Pastors, Ministers and even those wanting to take up traditional positions in their villages. It is a book that tries to expose the secret behind the traditional stool of the `¿king¿¿.
