The author, Charles Fillmore (1854-1948), was an american mystic. In this book he tries to approach one of the most known saint texts, the Genesis, in order to demonstrate the origin of man as a perfect idea in the mind of God. Throughout the all book, the author avoids genealogies and similar matters, because the intent is not to establish an historical interpretation.
