Nature Vs. Nurture

In the tradition of Jodi Picoult and Anita Shreve, Nature vs.Nurture explores the life of Elinor (Elle) York, a woman that seems to have it all. An influential family, a great job, as a personal shopper, a successful lawyer boyfriend who is politically ambitious, and she lives in one of the most beautiful cities in the world, San Francisco. For Elle, life isn't as simple as it appears. She is a woman who has spent her entire life pleasing and taking care of others. It was just part of her nature. Everything in her life changes from the moment, Steven Michaels walks into her place of employment as her new client. A new lawyer that works in the same firm as her boyfriend, Malcolm Doctor. As Elle and Steven form a stronger bond, he wonders what part of Elle's loyalties is nature and part is nurture. Steven also struggles with his growing feeling for Elle, in the shadow of his own failed relationships and doubts about if he really knows what love is.
