Samantha's husband thought it the worst difficulty she had ever got into. He would have to free his wife from the local high school by pretending to be her father and her responsible adult. When a boy kisses her she explains that he is her boyfriend which didn't go down well at all. Her husband decides she should correct the mistake herself and leaves her in school for the rest of that day.

Her daughter wants her parents to return to normal so she accepts her mother is stuck in school and needs her husband to get her out. Janice warns her mother to keep out of trouble but the woman is a disaster area, by getting into all kinds of problem situations.

If Samantha just doesn't go to school, the authorities will look for her, in case she is in trouble. When they catch up with her they will blame her father for the absence and put her into care. She dare not declare it a mistake ad that she is an adult woman as she will be prosecuted. So her husband must get her out of school with a legitimate reason. Until then, she must stay in school and protect herself from bullies, her boyfriend and other boys. Not only that, she must keep herself sane and not sink into thinking she really is a schoolgirl.
