A long hidden secret leads him to Cape Town where he runs into a woman unlike any other. She was a dangerous pawn in the game the Syndicate has been playing with their lives.

Avoiding her was impossible. Staying with her wasn't going to happen.

Happy childhood memoriesI don't have many of those.

My training started at the age of five. I became one of the Syndicate's best and life was golden. Until I refused an order and ended up in prison for a crime I didn't commit.

Ten years they took from me, leaving me scarred and bitter with a burning in my gut for payback.

The plan took years to put together and now, finally, it was time.

Unfortunately I needed the help of a badass biker, one who constantly blew hot and cold. Ending up in bed was a very bad idea, for both of us. I should have kept my distance.

I should have guarded my foolish heart.
