Nev's Narratives is a collection of four short stories, originally written in pursuit of Nevaeh Ryn's BFA in Creative Writing. Each of the four is set within different contexts, tackling subjects such as crime, family, second chances, and plain survival.

"The Reckoning" is an intense survival tale set in a post-apocalyptic world. It revolves around Anissa and Anabella, two sisters trying their best to survive. They'll do whatever it takes to protect each other, which is proven when they encounter other survivors who pose a threat. Together, they navigate the challenges thrown their way and learn to live in their harsh new world.

Readers then get to indulge in, "The Cabin," a flash-fiction piece about an unnamed man visiting his grandfather's old cabin. Rich with sensory details, the reasons behind the man's arduous journey are revealed during the very last line, creating a sinister undertone in an otherwise innocuous narrative.

In "The Hotel Suite," readers to introduced to a hardened heroine. The tale takes place in the aftermath of a failed caper and focuses on an unnamed woman and her partner-in-crime, Michael. Set within the confines of a hotel room, the two must figure out their next move. Unfortunately, they have different ideologies on how things should be handled.

Finally, "A Second Chance" offers readers a lighter-hearted, heartwarming narrative. Following her brother skipping town, Eden is trying to do what's best for her niece, Alice. When Alice's mother reappears, Eden must let old grudges go to give her niece a chance at a 'normal' family.
