SYNOPSIS
In the fictional novel "Owl in the Dark," readers are introduced to Jeffrey Adofoasa Jnr., a Junior High School graduate, who becomes consumed by greed and seeks extraordinary powers from the marine world. This decision leads him to riches and a marriage with Mi Ami, the beautiful daughter of a Marine Spirit. However, the price he pays for his newfound wealth is steep; he transforms into a terrifying owl at night, tormenting and bringing sorrow to the community.
During the day, Jeffrey presents himself as a kind and loving young man, giving back to the community through donations and acts of kindness. No one suspects him as the cause of the chaos at night. However, his life takes a complicated turn when he falls for Adwoa, a young woman he meets.
Mi Ami, fuelled by jealousy, inflicts an incurable disease upon Adwoa, while also causing Jeffrey to encounter a disastrous accident with a mad cow. As Adwoa struggles with her illness, Jeffrey's true nature begins to unravel, with disastrous consequences.
