Gods and aliens are topics we usually think about as being far removed from us. Gods live in 'Heaven', and by their lack of mortality alone are outside our understanding; though some beliefs say we were made in their image. Beings from other worlds can be green skinned, reptilian or have forms we cannot yet imagine, and reside in distant quarters of our galaxy or galaxies far beyond our own. However, are there not such 'alien' parallels in our own world? Teenagers are often alien to all but their peers. The male is mostly contrary to the female, and vice versa. What is normal for one culture can be an abomination to another. Each religion insists its own gods are the true gods. "Of Gods and Other Aliens" dips into some of these themes and 'gently' explores them.
