Norm Carruthers is the only Caucasian pilot for Hong Kong based East Asia Air Investments air freighters. Cagey Mr. Kee liked Norm, unlike most of his Chinese pilots Norm didn't fritter his wages away on liquor and call girls. Before long Norm was lead pilot responsible for overseeing purchase of used aircraft. In Gatwick while attending a Boeing Training Course Norm met a girl he went to school with in Richmond BC, a suburb of Vancouver. Daughter Ann is followed by son Gordon. While Norm fly's all over the world Carol meets an early day crypto-currency developer. Kim convinces her to buy $1,000.00 worth of "coins" at 2.462 cents each. She becomes a lender to Grow-ops on Vancouver Island. 1 "coin" out equals 2 "coins" back. Mr. Kee learns of a contract for 8 Boeing 747 Freighters between Gatwick and Hong Kong, Norm manages the England side. He meets a lady. Carol and the kids stay in Richmond. Mr. Kee's only son takes over the business, fritters everything away on drugs, hookers and gambling. Norm is out of a job. Norm hires 5 ex-Chinese airforce pilots to ressurect two long since retired Constellation aircraft to ferry oil field equipment from Australia to Brunei. A part English, part Chinese lady enters Norms life.
