Once Hero Turned Coward is quite beautiful and surreal in its own right. See, while courageously and brazenly performing my duties as a Law Enforcement officer who swore to uphold the Law while protecting and serving the community, a tragic killing took place from my hands, which killed a seventeen year old black male. This unforeseen event that transpired not only hindered my job performance but ultimately produced two mental illnesses, Depression, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. These two known illnesses not only caused ruination amongst my peers, it harvested beggary as I lost my first purchased home and began sleeping wherever my head could lay. My only vehicle was repossessed as I could no longer afford the affordable. I was falsely accused of foolishness as detestation filled the hearts of the misguided.
