Only Fools and Knaves is an alternate history series set near present-date in a timeline where there was no NASA, where the USA had a military space programme, and Project Orion had been implemented. A world where there are colonies on the Moon and Mars, solar power satellite arrays, and space habitats. But, a timeline where the Cold War is still in progress as the Americans, Soviets, and the Chinese jostle for political and military supremacy.
Stand and Unite... takes place on the Canadian space habitat Mackenzie-King which is located within the American Zone of Lagrange 4. All is not rosy; as superpowers do not have friends, only interests. Ryan Morrison is a lifesystems engineering technologist who had been politically active prior to the American Occupation of the habitat. Ryan is in big trouble; the authorities believe that he has organised a resistance movement against the habitat's US puppet regime.
