Lainey and Alex have been best friends since they were young girls. They went to college together and now live in the same city, though it's far from their hometown. They do everything together, including celebrating the holidays, and always have. But Lainey wants more and has for a long time. She is ready to settle down, meet a man, and eventually have children with them.
