This book offers a holistic perspective on the relationship between the developing human and his ecology and from that perspective interlinks the Indian with his ecology. Ecology here refers to both human and material ecology. In India, there are a variety of heterogeneous ecologies.Ecology is a growing area of importance, given the fact that its definition is becoming a significant subject of study in terms of its preservation and sustainability.
