Phantom Hearts

Locals in the seaside town of Morro Bay have shared stories of the odd dealings in the two Victorian homes on the cliffside. Ghost hunters have come calling over the years asking for a chance to investigate the rumors that have passed between clerks and customers in the town for decades, but no one had ever been granted admittance. There was no telling what they would find if they had been able to cross the thresholds of the infamous homes, but the present occupant of one of those homes was not about to grant them entry, nor was he willing to confirm any of the rumors that the paranormal tourists had been hunting that his home was haunted by his great-grandparents.

Secluded on a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, Bernie found peace in this world he had rediscovered, cut off from the fast pace and high stress of the Southern California Real estate market, he has chosen to rediscover his own happiness in his family's home. The only thing missing was the love and support of a particular woman. Nells had been his next door neighbor, childhood friend, and first love, but tragedy had ripped the two apart when they needed each other the most leaving both alone to drown in misery and loneliness.
