As the Black Death terrorizes Medieval England, a tabby tries to save his fellow cats when superstitious humans target them for eradication, even as millions of disease-carrying rats multiply across the land.
In the year 1349, Caesar, a Naval Officer's beloved but tough-as-nails pet tabby cat, returns to England with his Master from battle in the 100 Year War. But the home they arrive to has become a nightmare of death, as a hideous illness is sweeping the country. Believing cats are connected to devil worship and may be the cause of the plague, citizens murder every feline they can find.
