As the Black Death terrorizes Medieval England, a tabby tries to save his fellow cats when superstitious humans target them for eradication, even as millions of disease-carrying rats multiply across the land.
In the year 1349, Caesar, a Naval Officer's beloved but tough-as-nails pet tabby cat, returns to England with his Master from battle in the 100 Year War. But the home they arrive to has become a nightmare of death, as a hideous illness is sweeping the country. Believing cats are connected to devil worship and may be the cause of the plague, citizens murder every feline they can find. Meanwhile, disease-spreading rodents, led by Yersinia the Rat Queen, multiply by the millions across the land.
With a third of England's people already struck down by the Black Death, can Caesar and his fellow cats, the natural predators to the rat, survive Mankind's extermination of cats in order to help avert the rat's extermination of Mankind?
