Regard your soldiers as your children, and they will follow you into the deepest valleys; look upon them as your beloved sons, and they will stand by you even unto death. -Sun Tzu

President Johnson and General Westmorland had promised victory was right around the corner. Then the January, 1968 Tet Offensive shocked the world. Hanoi suffered a terrible defeat. The Viet Cong were virtually wiped out and the NVA badly damaged. But the American press played it up as an Allied disaster. This created the turning point in the Vietnam War.

Military morale plummeted. But an American Marine by the name of Major Abraham never accepted the lie. He saw the Media and the Democrat Party as an enemy worse than the Viet Cong guerrillas.

Major Abraham and his Marines felt a loyalty with the Vietnamese people. Communism was an insidious political disease. Could they save the people? Would they themselves survive? The hand of Fate rolled the dice in 1968. Would 7 or 11 come up or would it be snake eyes?

Come join these brave Marines and bring your Bible with you.

Plato's Cave, taken from The Republic written around 370 BC, describes an allegory between perceived reality and the actual truth. Vietnam was like that. Come with us now on our return voyage into the Iron Storm, in this, the sequel to Garden of Eden.

Guard against the imposters of pretended patriotism. -George Washington
